We offer equipment from a French manufacturer for removing paint, varnish, rust and dirt by aerogommage – for craftsmen, construction and industrial companies, restorers and municipal services.
All machines are designed and assembled in the manufacturer’s own workshop in France. The equipment carries the Made in France label.
What is aerogommage?
Aerogommage is a cleaning technique in which a natural mineral abrasive is sprayed at low pressure by a special machine (aerogommeuse). Hydrogommage works on the same principle, but the machine is supplied with water instead of air.
Unlike more aggressive methods, aerogommage removes paint, varnish, rust, dirt and traces of oxidation while preserving the substrate. By adjusting the pressure and type of abrasive, a precise result is achieved without deforming or pitting the surface.

Difference from classic sandblasting: abrasive consumption is much better controlled and the work is done at a lower, more precisely set pressure, so more suitable and less toxic abrasives can be used – while protecting sensitive materials such as wood, soft stone, aluminium and some composites.

Abrasives and accessories
Natural abrasives of mineral origin are available, chosen by grain size and composition so as not to damage the substrate: Garnet (several grain sizes), Novablast, Jetglass, glass beads, sodium bicarbonate and vegetable abrasive.
Alongside the machines we also offer compressors, air coolers and dryers, air purifiers, nozzles and guns, sieves for recycling abrasive, a misting kit (hydrogommage) and personal protective equipment – ventilated helmets and masks.
Aerogommage requires a machine with precise control of pressure and abrasive flow, a sufficiently powerful compressor, an air cooler (so the abrasive does not get damp), a suitable abrasive and protective equipment for the operator.

What can be cleaned
Wood, metal, stone, brick, concrete, aluminium, shutters, beams, antique furniture, fences and gates, wheel rims, boat hulls, car bodies before painting, façades, fireplaces, walls, monuments and some composite surfaces. With the work area protected, aerogommage can also be done indoors – e.g. for beams, staircases, stone walls or furniture on site.
